Welcome!

We are a small family friendly run riding school set in the heart of the Calder Valley, Halifax.

Proprietors are Gayle Dunleavy BHS3CCH and Darren Luty, we are Fully Licensed and Insured. Set in the heart of the Calder valley, Halifax.

We offer riding lessons, hacks (rides out), weekly pony club, loan a pony, British horse society tests/certificates, school holiday events, kids parties, tots group and much more.

We are situated near Ogden Reservoir and offer lovely rides out around our local village and onto the moors.

In 2017 we became a pony club centre and a BHS approved riding centre, offering young riders to achieve certificates/badges and for all other riders a chance to achieve BHS qualifications ie Ride Safe Award etc.

Our future goals are to incorporate a roof over the existing arena, this will allow us to offer all year round tuition and to keep adding/changing to our horse stock.

Also to offer a student to join us on their BHS pathway as an apprentice.
